Aries’ New Collab Is Made for the Arsenal Faithful

And the campaign features Beth Mead, Alessia Russo, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.

This one goes out to the football fans – and more specifically, the Gunners. Aries has teamed up with Arsenal to create the North London football team’s first-ever independent streetwear partnership. And the result is worthy of silverware.

The fashion-first team-up brings together football’s Premier League and luxe-streetwear, reimagining classic Aries silhouettes (including the bomber jacket and graphic T-shirt) with Arsenal supports in mind. The limited-edition collection features 26 pieces, ranging from jersey tracksuits to graphic ‘J Adoro Arsenal’ tees, by way of retro football shirts, jacquard denim sets and matching nylon pieces. There’s accessories too: caps, scarves, socks (of course) as well as an array of Arsenal x Aries “A” jewelry, including pendants, rings, earrings and keyrings.

The Aries navy wool bomber is transformed with the Arsenal Cannon embroidered in black, while 1886 graphics feature throughout as a nod to the year the club was founded. Best of all though, the Arsenal logo is rewritten in the signature Aries typeface. And for the true faithful, there’s also odes to celebrated manager Herbert Chapman and life president Ken Friar in the mix.

Who better to front the campaign than Arsenal legends? Professional players Beth Mead, Alessia Russo, Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice, who made his London Fashion Week debut on the Labrum runway just a few week ago, all star in the campaign.  Alongside the players are their biggest supporters: ShyGirl, Lava La Rue, Kaya Scodelario, Ghetts, Clive Palmer and Knucks. Together, and to the voices of the London City Voices, they all praise at the altar of Arsenal.

“The campaign was inspired by the shared experience of supporters and community,” explains Aries founder and creative director, who’s brand is also based in North London. “[It is what] unites us despite our different creeds, beliefs, backgrounds, traditions, and the almost spiritual role football can play in uniting supporters in a shared emotional experience.”

The limited-edition Arsenal x Aries collaboration will be available to purchase at the Aries’ Flagship store in London’s Soho as well as via ariesarise.com, Arsenal club stores and Arsenal Direct.
