Glossier Just Dropped Two New Iterations of Its Cult-Favorite 'You'

Meet Doux and Rêve.

Over the course of 38 revisions, Emily Weiss came up with Glossier‘s ‘You,’ close to seven years ago. The brand’s first fragrance was meant to be something that enhances the way your skin smells — all you, with just a little boost. 2017’s ‘You’ was supposed to mimic the cozy feeling you get when you put on your favorite sweater, where it sort of becomes a part of you because of just how warm it makes you.

Now the makeup, skincare and body care brand has announced the debut of Glossier You Doux + Glossier You Rêve, two new iterations of the cult classic. Because of the original fragrance’s global appeal, we have no doubt that these newcomers will leave fans wanting more.

Glossier ‘Doux’ is a delicate, woody spin on the fan-fave. It opens with sweet violet as its top note, followed by warm notes of palo santo, frankincense, myrrh and musk. For those seeking a subtle yet sophisticated scent, we recommend this earthy perfume.

Glossier ‘Rêve’ on the other hand is a gourmand’s dream, starting off sweet and smooth before unfolding into a unique blend of plum, almond, iris and sandalwood. Like the OG, both new perfumes are designed to enhance what you naturally smell like, varying from person to person.

Glossier’s ‘Doux’ and ‘Rêve’ retail for $74 USD each and are available now for preorder on the brand’s website, launching officially on October 3.
