Here's a Closer Look at JJJJound's ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14

Teased earlier this month, the forthcoming JJJJound x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 silhouette is one of the most highly anticipated collaborations of the summer and we finally get a closer look at the minimal sneaker.
Complete with subtle JJJJound branding, the shoe boasts its signature logo in a retro font on the right foot, complementing the GEL-KAYANO branding on the left. JJJJound branding can also be found inside the shoe’s sole, coupled with the ASICS logo plastered firmly on the tongue. Details are subtle but considered, offering a fusion of retro design and tonal branding.
In terms of the shoe’s colorway, the upper is made from a clean white mesh, fused together with futuristic silver leather accents and contrasting overlays. Merging the shoe’s retro running silhouette with the ever-popular Y2K aesthetic, the result is a timeless sneaker that still appeals to the trend-seeker in all of us.
