Vans and PaperGirl Bring Polka Prints to the Skate Park
Unveiling an all new XL Old Skool collaboration.
Not long after Parisian cafe PaperBoy launched its sister brand PaperGirl with an ASICS collaboration, the new, female-focused entity is gearing up for another collaborative endeavor. This time, teaming up with Vans to create a collection of polka-dot-print shoes, the new release offers a selection of silhouettes for the whole family.
Centering around the LX Old Skool sneaker, the PaperGirl iteration reimagines the classic shoe with PaperGirl polka dot, appearing along the insoles and rubber waffle outsoles. Elsewhere, the logo sits across the shoe’s heel counter, paired with three lace options: clean white, pink with glow-in-the-dark aglets or black and petal pink.
Along with the Old Skool trio, the collab features a new Vans x PaperGirl Authentic 44, constructed with a low-top, lace-up silhouette crafted from canvas. The signature polka dot print and logo adorns the insoles and outsoles, along with a woven Vans logo in the PaperGirl font.
To celebrate the partnership, Vans and PaperGirl will host an event at PaperBoy’s Paris cafe, complete with waffles, giveaways and a skate jam on July 20.
The Vans x PaperGirl collaboration will be available to shop via Vans on July 23 with an exclusive early release via PaperBoy Paris on July 20.
