Vans Taps Proenza Schouler for Puff-Perfect Slip-Ons
In three chic colorways.
New York-based luxury brand Proenza Schouler has teamed up with Vans for a collaboration so puffy and perfect, that it’s already sky-rocketed right to the top of our wish lists. Putting its elevated minimalism at the forefront, Proenza has taken over Vans’ signature Slip-On silhouette, reimagining it with exaggerated proportions.
Arriving in three monochromatic colorways, the collection revives the 1970s classic in soft and supple leather, fusing the casual skate aesthetic with Proenza Schouler’s renowned luxury. Boasting an inflated design which adds volume to the shoe’s perimeter panels, the slip-on collaboration is coated in premium leather while tonal badges hang from the sides, paired with enlarged rubber soles with glossy finishes.
Rounding out the design is Vans’ classic skateboarding symbol, pressed into the shoe’s signature rear blocks, while Proenz Schouler-branded insoles add the finishing touch.
