Issey Miyake's Holiday Collection Gets a "Chiffon Twist"
Featuring six new colors to add to the brand’s winter lineup.
Silky, elegant and an elevated successor to the brand’s classic “Pleats Please” line, Issey Miyake has just unveiled new colors to its holiday series, the “Chiffon Twist.”
True to its name, “Chiffon Twist” employs a delicate, chiffon-like fabric that pleats and twists, embracing the body with elegant ease. This collection features a bold yet refined color palette: vibrant orange, magenta pink, turquoise, earthy brown, deep forest green and white. These colors emphasize the line’s dynamic and wearable artistry, making each piece feel as if it’s come to life with the natural world. The new line will come in three separate styles — a long sleeve, a short sleeve and a long sleeve with attached gloves.
Ahead of the launch, the brand’s latest series will be celebrated with an exclusive exhibition at Japan‘s Vague Kobe Gallery where newly commissioned artworks inspired by the pieces will be displayed, offering a captivating glimpse into the vision and artistry behind the line.
The “Chiffon Twist” pieces will be available for purchase on Issey Miyake’s online store.
