Jordan Brand Pens a Love Letter to the City of Love With Three Dedicated Drops

As the 2024 Paris Olympics begin, the heritage sneaker brand honors Parisian style sensibilities with the Air Jordan 4 Wet Cement and Air Jordan 6 Retro Pearl.

Taking it back to Michael Jordan’s mythical moments in Paris in the late ‘90s, Jordan Brand delivers three drops dedicated to the City of Love. With the 2024 Paris Olympics kicking off, the heritage sneaker brand honors the French capital with the release of the Air Jordan 4 Retro Wet Cement and Women’s Air Jordan 6 Retro Pearl, along with an accompanying clothing capsule collection. Merging the worlds of sport and style, the cult-classic silhouettes take design cues from the city, poetically penning a love story to Paris and its people.

Connected to the city since the 1997 McDonald’s Championship, Jordan memorializes the milestone moment with the subtle colorways of the AJ 4 Wet Cement and AJ 6 Retro Pearl. Capturing the core of Parisian culture, the former sneaker comes fashioned in varying shades of gray as an ode to the cobblestone streets of Paris. Made with a premium material mix and titanium dioxide finish, the AJ 4 model receives a modern revamp. The AJ 6 Pearl continues to pay homage to the French city with a worn Pure Platinum suede upper, pearl accents and anodized piping, reminiscent of Parisian café chairs and the historic Pont de Alexandre III.

With these two sneakers drops, along with the accompanying apparel line, Jordan Brand highlights how Parisian style sensibilities, from fashion and art to sport and dance, serve as the brand’s muse. Throughout the FA 2024 capsule collection, this rings true as the range of tops, shorts, denim and knit offerings boast wordmark branding and imagery of Jordan’s iconic stop at the Eiffel Tower in 1997.

Coinciding with the 2024 Paris Olympics opening weekend, the Air Jordan 4 Retro Wet Cement is set to drop July 27, retailing for $225 USD, and the Women’s Air Jordan 6 Retro Pearl releases August 6, on the SNKRS app. The FA 2024 capsule collection is currently available on the Nike webstore.
