Starface Just Launched a Patch for Pimple Pickers
Meet the Hydro-Star Recovery Pimple Patches.
We’ve all been there: the immediate rush of regret that comes after the fleeting satisfaction of popping a spot that you know you should have just left alone. Well, former beauty editor Julie Schott’s skincare brand Starface has a new pimple patch for exactly that. Introducing the Hydro-Star “Recovery” Pimple Patches, which are tailor-made to help those difficult-to-heal pimples (and freshly popped zits).
While “Recovery” patches are made with the same hydrocolloid formula that zaps zits in their path, this version also helps to soothe skin and aid the healing process, while also protecting the damaged skin whether it’s dry, inflamed or irritated (or likely to get picked again).
One of the only patches out there designed to assist in a full recovery post-pimple, its ingredients also include vitamin A, to help with cell turnover; aloe vera, for soothing and tapping down inflammation; and licorice root, to help reduce the appearance of scars.
If you’re the type of person who can’t not pick at a newly-formed pimple, this patch is also helpful in preventing you from interrupting the healing process. As well as keep any bacteria away from the skin throughout its regenerative process. And they look cute AF, too. To apply, just peel off and firmly stick onto the skin — don’t forget to fully clean the area beforehand, though.
