Who Is Model of the Year Nominee Alex Consani?

We explore the history-making model’s illustrious career so far.

In 2015, Consani became the world’s youngest transgender model at just 12 years old — which is already pretty major — but she didn’t stop there. She went on to sign with IMG Models in 2019 and since then, has graced the runways of major brands like BurberryCoperniChloe and BOSS, also appearing in the recent collaboration between Jean Paul Gaultier and KNWLS.

So how did Consani go from fashion fan to fashion icon? Ahead, we review some of her biggest career moments to date, from her first-ever runway show to multiple Marc Jacobs campaigns.
