Alex Consani, Lisa and Bella Hadid: Our Favorite Moments From the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
The annual fashion show returned to NYC after a five-year hiatus.
The annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to New York City on October 15 after a five-year hiatus, promising “the glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment and more.” Featuring a star-studded cast of OG models and new recruits, the highly-anticipated event saw the likes of Ice Spice, Queen Latifah, Teyana Taylor, Coco Jones and Jodie Turner-Smith in attendance.
Elsewhere, the runway featured fan favorites like Gigi and Bella Hadid, alongside new it-girls Alex Consani, Barbara Palvin and Paloma Elsesser. Bringing back the OGs, the VS show also saw Kate Moss on the catwalk, Cher taking to the stage to perform and Tyra Banks closing the show.
The showcase was initially canceled in 2019 after some less-than-positive comments from the brand’s then-marketing chief Ed Rezak, who spoke to Vogue about not wanting to include transgender or plus-sized models. Following those comments, the brand came under fire again in 2020 after a docuseries titled Victoria’s Secret: Angels and Demons aired, which further showcased the label’s toxic beauty standards and exclusionary attitude, alongside documenting L Brands’ CEO Les Wexner’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Now, it appears VS has turned over a new leaf.
Read on for the biggest moments from the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024.
Gigi Hadid Opening the Show
Gigi Hadid had to be a part of Victoria Secret’s 2024 Fashion Show runway — there was no doubt about that. The model opened the show in an adorable pink one-piece complete with classic pink VS wings and matching heels.
Bella Hadid’s VS Runway Return
Fan favorite Bella Hadid was always rumored to return to the VS runway after a longstanding relationship with the brand, but it wasn’t until we saw her take to the stage that we realized just how much we’d missed her. Donning a vibrant red lingerie set complete with red fur coat and matching heels, Bella’s VS look is one that we’ll be thinking about for years to come.

The brand announced that the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show would feature “the first-ever all-women musical talent lineup.” The first to be confirmed was GRAMMY award-winning icon Cher, followed by Tyla and BLACKPINK‘s Lisa, who stole the show with their performances.
Alex Consani’s Official VS Runway Debut
We had a sneaking suspicion that Alex Consani would make an appearance at the show, after all, she was dubbed a VS Angel back in 2020, teaming up with the brand for its video reimagining of the classic runway show. Years later, she made her official debut on the stage, and we were here for it.
Kate Moss, Tyra Banks and Candice Swanepoel Reuniting on the Runway
The OG Victoria’s Secret Angels had to make an appearance, and the runway return saw names like Iman, Candice Swanepoel and Kate Moss reunite, with Tyra Banks closing the show. Elsewhere, names like Adriana Lima, Barbara Palvin and Paloma Elsesser walked the show.
