Melissa x Marc Jacobs Is a Match Made in Heaven

Brazilian footwear brand Melissa just announced its newest collaboration with Marc Jacobs, launching three new styles in summer-ready colorways.
Tapping into our affinity for metallics, the new collection houses three new silhouettes in metallic hues of gold, silver and “Wisteria” alongside translucent iterations. Featuring the Becky Platform Slides, Melissa Mule and Ruby Ballet Flats, the new capsule centers around a reimagining of classic silhouettes for a contemporary new audience.

Drawing inspiration from Marc Jacobs’ ready-to-wear clothing line, the collection explores monogram prints, metallic finishes and distinctive shapes, all reimagined through the Melissa lens. Crafted from vegan recyclable materials, the shoes feature Melissa’s signature transparent plastic across the uppers.
The new team-up isn’t the first time that Melissa and Marc Jacobs have joined forces, following a previous release from Summer 2023 which included a slew of chunky collaborative clogs and slides in various hues. For Melissa, the collaboration follows a line of fashion partnerships, including Telfar, Jean Paul Gauliter, Y/Project and UNDERCOVER.
