Chris Cadaver and Converse’s Camp Flog Gnaw Collection Just Dropped

Celebrating 10 years of Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw.

Is there anything Tyler, The Creator can’t do?  The artist and founder-cum-curator just celebrated the 10th anniversary of Camp Flog Gnaw music festival, held at Los Angeles‘s Dodger Stadium. Not only was there an explosive performance of Tyler’s new album, Chromakopia, alongside guest artists like Sexyy Red, Doechii, and Daniel Caesar, but there’s also a limited-edition collection to commemorate the occasion – and it just dropped.

The festival’s long-term fashion collaborator Converse pulled out all the stops to make the weekend a memorable one, and even thought about the fans who couldn’t make it to the carnival. Teaming up with artist Chris Cadaver, they created a limited-edition Camp Flog Gnaw x Converse merchandise collection which features an array of designs emblazoned across T-shirts, hoodies and tote bags. Each features vintage Converse motifs, reinterpreted through Cadaver’s signature sketches and style.

Cadaver is a long-term collaborator of Tyler, The Creator, and has worked on various Golf Wang collections, but this marks his first collaboration with Converse.  “It’s a a full-circle moment for me,” he told Hypebae, “in high school, I used to customize and draw all over my classmates’ Chuck Taylors and school uniforms for a few dollars.”
