PUMA and Coperni Are Keeping Blokecore Alive
With an all-new SS24 collection inspired by the uniforms of athletes and performance football boots.
PUMA and Coperni are back with another stellar collaboration, this time partnering on their first full collection for Spring/Summer 2024. Teased back in January, the collaboration was kickstarted by the release of the PUMA x Coperni 90SQR, a hybrid sneaker that merged the markings of a dress shoe with a performance football boot.
With that same fusion in mind, PUMA and Coperni will be releasing a fully-fledged collection, merging fashion with speed, simplicity with purpose and style with sport. Inspired by the uniforms of elite athletes, the collection includes pieces like the Speedsuit, Speed Dress and bodysuit, crafted with fluid lines and streamlined cuts.
Designs are influenced by Coperni’s love of futurism and brought to life by technical fabrics like jacquard mesh and heat-transfer accents. Hues of white, black and yellow characterize the offering, in line with the previous footwear drop, rounded out by signature accessories like the Coperni Medium Bag and Small Bag — debossed with chrome foil.
A new, collaborative version of the signature Speedcat also features within the collection, crafted from a synthetic leather base and overlaid with a structural cage, 3D-printed logo and co-branded tongue.
