Get Your Gorp on With Salomon and MM6 Maison Margiela's New Collab
Marking their first ready-to-wear collection, along with new footwear styles.
The dynamic duo in the world of sports and fashion, Salomon and MM6 Maison Margiela, have once again joined forces. After captivating audiences with their “X-ALP” shoe and “XT-Mary J” sneaker, they’re back with their third collaborative collection. This minimalist capsule, divided into Gore-Tex and seamless categories, blends the core identities of both brands and features stylish ready-to-wear pieces like trench coats, zipped windbreakers and oversized button-down shirts. All pieces are crafted from breathable, water-repellent Gore-Tex fabric that aligns perfectly with Salomon’s DNA.
While the footwear segment of the collection presents refreshed versions of the “ACS PRO” running shoe and the “Speedcross” trail-running sneaker. The new “ACS PRO,” named “ACS PRO 2” is offered in a sleek concrete gray with muted silver accents and a glossy tar-black option, reflecting an industrial aesthetic.
The updated style of the “Speedcross,” titled the “Cross Low,” features a new low profile and a specially designed lug sole. This sneaker is available in two colorways: a pink shade with bright reds and a light brown combined with green and yellow details. Its signature drawstring nylon closure connects to a hi-tech molded composite sole via taped waterproof seams, marrying sporty functionality with vintage waterproof charm and epitomizing the unique MM6 Maison Margiela design ethos.
