Fashion Platform SYKY Taps Japanese Label ANREALAGE To Launch on Apple Vision Pro
Unveiling the “The Pyramid” dress.
The gap between fashion and technology is rapidly closing as new and innovative creations emerge. Founded by former Ralph Lauren and Burberry digital director Alice Delahunt, the luxury fashion platform SYKY has just launched an app on Apple Vision Pro.
Starting with a showcase from avant-garde Japanese label ANREALAGE, designed by Kunihiko Morinaga, the SYKY app offers a unique and immersive way to dive into the worlds of legendary designers and fashion houses.
“We’re excited to continue leading this new frontier with the launch of our Apple Vision Pro app, where we will transport consumers to the front row of the fashion industry, offering them access to impeccable design and inspiration with the ultimate luxury fashion experience” says CEO and founder, Alice Delahunt in a press statement.
For the app’s launch, the Japanese label has created an exclusive centerpiece called “The Pyramid” dress. This structural, color-changing piece is inspired by a bespoke gown that ANREALAGE made for Beyoncé on her Renaissance tour. Although the brand usually uses 3D design to create its physical pieces, making “The Pyramid” dress for SYKY was a completely new experience and delves further into the designer’s concept that garments can be structures that people inhabit.
The platform will continue to collaborate with the world’s leading fashion houses where visitors can explore digital extensions of ateliers, design spaces, fashion presentations, new retail environments and custom-designed pieces.
The app is now available as a free download on the Apple Vision Pro app Store.
