BLACKPINK Announces 2025 Reunion and World Tour

Ahead of their eighth anniversary.

Last year, BLACKPINK closed 2023 with bombshell news that they split with YG Entertainment to pursue solo endeavours. While fans were shocked and saddened, many trusted the process and held onto the hope that they would make a comeback sometime in the future — that day has finally come.

Today, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-Suk confirmed the news in a video and shared that the K-Pop group will be embarking on a world tour next year. Exact dates and locations are yet to be announced but this will mark their first album release since Born Pink in 2022.

BLACKPINK has announced their comeback just ahead of their eighth anniversary on August 8. To celebrate, they will host a special fan sign event titled “Our Area With Blink.” This event will be particularly exciting as it marks the group’s first public appearance together in almost a year as the four members have been busy with their individual solo projects.
