Candy Crush Is Giving Away Free Halloween Hair Makeovers in New York City

If you live in New York City and have noticed colorful buzzcuts all over the subway, we’re here to tell you why. Candy Crush, the mobile video game, launched a fun Halloween campaign to promote Candy Crush Saga, the sequel to its first app — and it involves free hair makeovers.
Candy Crush Saga will take over the Exhibit Salon in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, during the hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on October 31. During this time, those who attend will be able to book a free hair styling appointment inspired by some of the candy that you can find on your screen when you’re playing the OG “You got games on your phone?” app.
With over five billion downloads, the free game has been the guilty pleasure of global gamers for close to 12 years. According to the brand, this campaign aims to allow its users to “embrace their Candy Crush pride in full color.”

If you’re interested in attending, you can book your free slot at Exhibit Salon on Vagaro’s website. Candy Crush will also donate proceeds from this activation to Hair We Share, a non-profit that provides hair services to those in need in the United States.
