How do modern-day creatives stay true to their core values when exercising their chosen artistic practice? Posing this question as part of the second installment of “The Creative Come Up: Graduating Class” Mandy-Harris Williams sat down with Aya Brown, Dana Scruggs and Crystal Anderson to identify how their beliefs inform their artistry and the significance of maintaining authenticity when pursuing creative endeavors.

Throughout the conversation, each creative force identified how their practices have evolved over time and ways cultural as well as social shifts influence their work, stressing the importance of listening to your inner voice and trusting your instinct in order to radically alter the creative landscape.
